Allocations and Funding
Transparency, accountability, and local impact are at the heart of our funding philosophy. The United Way of Greater Oswego County acts as a careful custodian of your community contributions. Our structured allocation process relies on the objective eyes of our volunteer Community Investment Committee—your neighbors—who audit, tour, and evaluate local programs before recommending funding. By measuring real outcomes, we ensure that every investment actively solves local challenges, supports vital human services, and maximizes the power of your generosity.
