United Way SUNY WalkOswego, NY – Members of VEGA, SUNY Oswego’s Junior and Senior Women’s Honors Society, and the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) recently sponsored the 25th annual Walk For A Purpose, a 5K walk around the SUNY Oswego campus.  The Walk For A Purpose Walk-A-Thon raised $430 in support of the 30 human services programs offered through United Way funded agencies.  “It’s inspiring to see how dedicated the students are to the university and the community they live in.  The members of VEGA, PRSSA, everyone that participated in Walk For A Purpose are to be commended for a job well done!” said Resource Development Director Ali McGrath.  Pictured above with the planning committee members is United Way Executive Director Patrick Dewine.  For information on the United Way of Greater Oswego County visit www.oswegounitedway.org.
